We believe that “It Takes an Entrepreneur to Help an Entrepreneur“.
That’s why every member of the Rock Solid Finance team has been a business owner. We’ve all struggled with payroll, sweated out an important contract, and worried about losing a key employee.
Besides building our own companies, Rock Solid team members have helped grow hundreds of companies — from Silicon Valley technology start-ups to multi-million-dollar construction companies… and a lot in between. We have set financial and operational strategies for fast growing Inc. 500 companies, for large Fortune 1,000′s, and even for US government agencies. We’ve worked with simple spreadsheets and with giant ERP systems.
Together, we’re a different kind of finance team. We have worked on all 4 coasts of the USA and with a variety of companies doing all kinds of finance and strategy work. Between us, we have radically different skills. But more than anything else, we are all entrepreneurs.
And when we GET IN YOUR BUSINESS we promise that you will get more out of it. You’ll get from us a clear strategy and a solid financial foundation… including a powerful new perspective on your success.
You will make better business decisions, take more effective action and build a more profitable business when you make use of David Worrell’s strategic and analytic skills. David will help you unlock the real potential of your business by basing decisions on fact and analysis — not just gut and instinct.

When you need to dig deep into accounting issues, Steve MacPherson is your man. For nearly 20 years Steve has enjoyed positions in accounting and finance within companies ranging from multinational conglomerates to fresh-faced start-ups.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors in Business Administration Steve began his career as a CPA in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche. His broad client base ranged from Fortune 500 companies to small market, privately-owned businesses.
But Steve’s heart was always in the challenges of entrepreneurship and this lead him to Charlotte, where he became the operations manager for a start-up multimedia business.
Steve served many different roles within this company, including purchasing, customer service, process standardization, as well as finance/accounting. Within five years, Steve helped grow the young company’s annual revenue from $0 to $13 Million.
After negotiating the sale of the company to a key supplier, Steve worked for an IT consulting firm specializing in small to mid-market ERP systems implementation, eventually breaking out to serve small businesses on his own.
Since going solo five years ago, Steve has enjoyed helping clients increase revenue and profit while providing a strong financial framework for sound decision making. At Rock Solid Finance, Steve is a Gold level Intuit QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and the one man who everyone turns to when there’s an issue dealing with the IRS.
Steve lives in Baxter Village, just south of Charlotte, with his wife Teresa and three daughters. In his free time enjoys mountain biking, music, college football and all things New Orleans.
Steve Milan has been CEO and/or owner of more businesses than any of us can count. His experience spans from chemical manufacturing to textile and apparel distribution.
If your business is in need of hard-core block and tackle operational support, Steve is your man. Our clients trust Steve to spot internal gaps in manufacturing and administration, as well as to help define the external go-to-market strategies that will power their growth.
Perhaps most important, Steve has over a decade of experience as an SBA banker and brings a wealth of relationships and knowledge about various government loan programs and the lenders who administer them. Every Rock Solid Finance client who is looking for a loan will get the full picture from Steve Milan.
